How annoying the musicians are as they swagger into the courtyard. Do they think they are gods? Well, I’ve seen a god and he didn’t play an instrument like that.

When he played an instrument it was like heaven opened up and the world stood still. His smile was confident & good-humored. His forehead puckered in concentration. I couldn’t move or talk while he played. I was transfixed by the pure emotion that came from his instrument. When his eyes met mine, they were an unnatural green. I knew then that he was not of this world.

    You’ve heard Clapton? 😉

  2. Aliens are the best brass players

  3. I love the words pucker and swagger. I’ve known men like that. Like how spare you said all that. Not easy to be so compelling so briefly.

Music heard at the crossroads perhaps. A delightful tale.

Good story with well placed words and imagery. Thanks! Nan
